Wakeboard Video
Since the onset of being able to download and watch videos online, special interest groups have also made their move in making videos available for viewing. It has actually been quite popular with wakeboarding groups. Wakeboard videos are not only found on the internet, but also in specialty stores where wakeboarders shop for attire and gear.Wakeboarding videos usually appear in two types. Feature videos usually demonstrate tricks and presentations, whereas instructional videos exhibit how to execute specific moves.A Wakeboard video can appeal to whatever level of skill you are at. There is basically something for everyone.
There are some awesome feature films which demonstrate tricks and presentations by an array of the best wakeboarders. Some of the most current and appealing are “Off-Axis,” “Overdue,” “Relentless,”
“Retrospect,” “Revolution,” “Scrubs of the South,” “Blacklist,” “Delta Sessions,” and “Delta Sessions 2 – Summer of Style.” These DVDs have great footage and are very entertaining.
There are some first-rate instruction videos available as well that could help you become the wakeboarder you want to be. Some of the suggested titles are “Snap;” The Book 5 Disc Wakeboard Collection including “Getting Started,” “Building a Foundation,” “Base Inverts,” “Spinning,” “Intermediate & Advanced Inverts;” Detention Vols. 1 and 2 Combo; and Higher Education Vols. 1 and 2 Combo.
The most recommended video is the Book 5 Disc Wakeboard Collection. This collection not only features some of the greatest wakeboarders, but also focuses on basic skills needed to be a great boarder. There are more than eight hours of coverage in this collection as riders such as Mike McLin, Kyle Schmidt, Keith Lyman, Gerry Nunn, Ben Greenwood, Kurt Robertson, Andrew Adkison, Jeff Weatherall and others teach you how to ride.
It ends up being a better deal if you purchase the entire collection, but if you were to buy only one video out of the collection, I would buy Book 4: Spinning. This video teaches you how to perform spins (on and off axis), 360s, and even more advanced spins. If you are looking to throw a few tricks into your riding bag, this is a great video to help you out.
If you want to improve your wakeboarding skills, it is suggested that you watch various wakeboarding videos to help you think of additional tricks and skills to your routine.
